Soluble Cutting Oils
Oleyl Amine Ethoxylates (Pharcos OA) serve as the primary emulsifier and corrosion inhibitor for soluble cutting oils. They form stable milky emulsions with mineral oil bases at 10-20% emulsifier concentration.
Semi-Synthetic Fluids
Stearyl Ethoxylates (Pharcos S) combined with Castor Oil Ethoxylates (Pharcos CE) create translucent micro-emulsions used in modern semi-synthetic cutting and grinding fluids.
Drawing Compounds
PEG (Pharcos PEG) at high molecular weights provides boundary lubrication in wire drawing and metal forming operations. PEG 4000-6000 is preferred for its film strength.
